ABOUT RETROFITTECH EGYPT SUMMIT

Driving Investment, Innovation & Sustainable Growth Across Egypt's Built Environment.

Egypt is entering a new phase in the evolution of its built environment. As energy costs continue to rise, sustainability targets become more ambitious, and the performance of existing buildings receives greater attention, improving energy efficiency has become a strategic priority across residential, commercial, industrial, and public-sector assets.

While billions of dollars continue to be invested in new cities and developments, the greatest opportunity lies in upgrading the country's existing building stock and industrial facilities. Achieving meaningful reductions in energy consumption, operating costs, and carbon emissions will require stronger collaboration between government, developers, asset owners, technology providers, financial institutions, and industry experts.

The RetrofitTech Egypt Summit taking place on 8 - 9 December 2026 in Cairo, provides a dedicated platform to explore the policies, technologies, financing models, and practical solutions accelerating retrofit projects and energy efficiency improvements across Egypt. Through high-level discussions, real project case studies, and technical presentations, the Summit will showcase how smarter buildings and industrial facilities can contribute to Egypt's long-term sustainability and economic development objectives.
